I love makeup, I love playing around with it, I love collecting it, and I love putting loads of it on my face. However, I hate spending my money, and makeup can be expensive. Makeup is one of those things I am willing to spend on, as often the more pricey products are worth it. However I love a good deal and there are some gems out there that are so cheap and work just as well as a high end product. So I would like to talk about some of my favorite products that are dirt cheap.

. Shimmering Facial Whip by elf £1

This is an amazing liquid highlighter. I own the shades Spotlight (white-champagne) and Lilac Petal (peachy-pink). I use this on its own to have a naturally gorgeous dewy look or under a powder highlighter to give a in-your-face-disco-ball look. You don’t need much of this so I have had these for ages (probably longer than I am supposed to) and still have quite a bit left. The packaging is simple and pretty cheap looking but it works, it’s practical and it only costs a pound so what would you expect? I couldn’t find an official link for this product so I have linked it on Amazon as it might be only available in store.

. Blusher by MUA £1

This is actually the only product I have tried by MUA but maybe I should try more because these are really good and they are so cheap! I own the shades Lolly (peachy-pink), Candyfloss (purplely-pink) and Bubble Gum (bright pink). They are really nice colours, they aren’t too powdery, they blend out really well. Again, the packaging is cheap but it works, it doesn’t break apart, it’s just good. I mean, one pound blushes, does it get better than that?

. Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder by NYC £2.99

This bronzer used to be talked about a lot on youtube but I don’t really see it around anymore but it is still really good! The shade I have is Sunny, although I’m not sure there are any other shades. It’s just a nice, matte bronzer that gives you a nice sun-kissed look that doesn’t look muddy and the powder blends into the skin really nicely. I think at this price it is great to be able to get a product like this (yay for NYC labs!). Not sure it’s available to buy online but it’s definitely in store.

. Pro Sequins Glitter Nail Polish by 2true £3

This might be cheaper in store I’m not too sure but these are still pretty cheap and I was blown away by these. I have the shades Tyra (gold) and Christy (silver). They are just full on glitter nail polishes. All the other nail polishes I have owned are a coat of clear polish with a bit of glitter through it. Which is fine, as a top coat or something. But these are just full, chunky, glitter. In a good way. With two coats you have you nail covers in glitter and I think these are really underhyped because they work really well.

. Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush by Rimmel £3.99

These are quite small pans but I might just think that because the packaging is small but I like that, it’s practical. I have the shades Bronze (a… bronze colour) and Santa Rose (a nude pink) and they are really amazing. They have fine shimmer through them which I love and they are just very natural, glowy blushes. And I think 3.99 is a very decent price to pay for the quality of these. I even got one for my granny.

. i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette by Sleek £8.99

Sleek i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette

Ok so this isn’t super cheap like the other products but this is an eyeshadow palette. so you get 12 shades in this and an eyeshadow palette under 10 pounds is very cheap. There are so many shades to chose from for these palettes. I own three (Del Mar Vol II, Celestial and Snapshots) and I am planning on getting more. The eyeshadows are pigmented, blendable and creamy. They have a very large selection of palettes so you have a great colour range, from more neutral palettes to colourful ones. The mattes are great which I really appreciate, and I think that they definitely more than worth the price.

So I have an honorable mention. I would like to mention NYX products. Because a lot of NYX products are cheap and a lot of NYX products are incredible.

NYX Cosmetics

NYX is probably my favorite makeup brand at the moment and the reason it didn’t make this list is because my favorite products are all around £6 which I don’t consider “dirt cheap” but is still pretty freaking cheap for the quality you are getting. I especially appreciate their more “out-there” products, with more colour and less neutral shades. Obviously they won’t be for everyone but I love colour so their products are perfect for me. Some of my all time favorite makeup products are by NYX and are all pretty cheap so I would like to mention a few. The Matte Lipsticks (in Euro Trash, Pure Red, Strawberry Daiquiri and Bloody Mary) as well as the Macaron Lipstick in Citron, and the Wicked Lipsticks (in Risqué, Betrayal and Power), the Vivid Brights Eyeliners (in Vivid Petal, Vivis Halo, Vivid Violet, Vivid Envy, Vivid Blossom and Vivid Sapphire) and the Liquid Crystal Liners (in Crystal Onyx, Crystal Jade, Crystal Silk, Crystal Pewter and Crystal Aqua). So even though these aren’t dirt cheap, they are cheap and I really recommend putting the extra couple pounds in there because they are soooo worth it.

So that completes this post, I hope you enjoyed it and please comment some of your favorite dirt cheap makeup products.
